Insurance Claim Manager - Job Description :


    This position reports to Senior management
    Lead and oversee the Pre-litigation unit
    Manage and adjust auto claims in the Pre-litigation or early litigation stages - primarily, third-party automobile subrogation and first party claims
    Identify & resolve coverage issues
    Identify high priority cases and keep them on a close diary.
    Maintain personal stewardship of files
    Negotiate claims and reach claim resolutions as promptly as possible
    Draft coverage position letters or correspondence as needed
    Provide stakeholders with a level of service that meets or exceeds their expectations
    Control claim costs and expenses to the extent possible
    Identify and implement process improvements to increase effectiveness and efficiency
    Assist in responding to attorney, regulatory, producer and consumer inquiries


Insurance Claim Manager - Qualifications:

    Minimum 3 years of automobile insurance claims work experience
    Non-Standard automobile insurance experience a plus
    Supervisory experience a plus
    Understand court process concepts
    Excellent negotiation skills
    Street Smarts
    Observant and ability to pick up details that are overlooked
    Strong liability analysis skills
    College degree a plus
    Knowledge of state-mandated claim practices
    Knowledge of reserving philosophies
    Proficiency with technology, primarily Microsoft Office

Insurance Claim Manager - Position:

    Regular Full Time (40hrs per week) 8am-5pm Monday-Friday

This position Insurance Claim Manager is presently a hybrid - minimum of 3 days in the Mount Prospect, IL office
