Manager - Legal - Commercial & Digital Job Responsibilities :
Provide proactive, in-depth legal support and guidance on a need basis to safeguard Company's legal rights and interests and to minimize Company's risk exposure.
Provide legal opinion and directions on activities and projects related to Commercial and Digital domains, including, B2B and B2C businesses, Marketing, and development, launch, distribution and growth of Digital Products & Services.
Be part of various cross-functional teams and represent Legal Department therein
Draft, review, advise on and execute various types of agreements with local and foreign commercial partners and vendors
Engage in discussions and negotiations with local and foreign commercial partners and vendors and manage disputes with them
Conduct legal research and keep internal stakeholders updated regarding laws and regulations
Maintain a contract management system for relevant contracts
Implement initiatives and processes in order to establish legal compliance culture through legal documentation, verbal & written legal advice and cross-functional collaboration.
Employment Status
Full-time Manager - Legal - Commercial & Digital Educational Requirements :
LLB (Hons.); preferably having LL.M/Bar-at-Law
Enrollment in the Bangladesh Bar Council is advantageous (not mandatory)
Experience Requirements
3 to 4 year(s)
Additional Requirements
3-4 years of telecom experience in a relevant field
Strong knowledge of Company Law, Telecommunication Laws & Regulations, IP Laws and general commercial and corporate laws
Strong understanding of telecom and/or Tech industry from legal, regulatory and commercial perspectives
Thorough understanding of end to end contract management process
Thorough understanding of the market and industry practice
Thorough understanding of corporate culture and practice
